<note>Derajat kejenuhan adalah suatu parameter yang digunakan untuk penilaian kinerja suatu ruas jalan perkotaan. Namun derajat kejenuhan bukanlah suatu hal yang dapat dirasakan atau dilihat secara langsung oleh para pengguna jalan, lain halnya dengan waktu tempuh. Waktu tempuh dapat dilihat dan dirasakan langsung oleh pengguna jalan saat memasuki suatu ruas jalan. Analisis kapasitas dan derajat kejenuhan digunakan pedoman Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI) dan untuk analisis hubungan derajat kejenuhan dengan waktu tempuh digunakan persamaan Volume Delay Function (VDF) berdasarkan Bureau Of Public Roads (BPR). Hasil penelitian diperoleh parameter Volume Delay Function (VDF) yaitu α dan β untuk karakteristik jalan Ir. H. Djuanda Kota Bandung untuk lalu-lintas menuju ke arah jalan Teuku Umar sebesar 0,387 dan 0,503 dan untuk lalu-lintas menuju ke arah pasar simpang sebesar 2,032 dan 2,374.</note>
