<note>Composites can be defined as a mixture of fibers and a matrix. The matrix serves to protect the fibers from environmental effects and damage due to impact. Meanwhile, fiberglass is a material commonly used as fiber.
This final project discusses the manufacture of honeycomb specimens that have a core shape close to the sinusoidal waveform and perform bending tests to obtain the maximum load and stiffness of the specimen.
This composite honeycomb material is made of fiberglass, a mixture of resin and catalyst as a matrix. The test performed is the bending test where the highest maximum load value that the specimen can hold is 176.05 Kgf with a stiffness value of 55.6 Kgf / mm.</note>
