<note>Rangka atau chassis adalah komponen otomotif yang berfungsi untuk menumpu semua beban, mulai dari motor penggerak (engine), penumpang, dan komponen lainnya. Di samping memiliki fungsi untuk menumpu beban, chassis juga harus mampu untuk menjamin bahwa semua komponen yang bertumpu di atasnya berada pada posisi yang benar. Sebuah chassis mobil balap listrik dibuat dengan proses pemesinan seperti pemotongan dan penggerindaan, dan juga proses pengelasan. Dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan proses pembuatan chassis mobil listrik KMLI. Chassis yang dibuat adalah chassis tipe tubular space frame,
dengan bahan pipa baja UOE diameter 1 inci, dan akan dilakukan pengujian kekakuan chassis. Hasil yang didapat yaitu chassis dengan dimensi yang telah sesuai dengan rancangan., dan hasil pengujian kekakuan chassis didapat defleksi terbesar pada titik 7,8 dan 9 sebesar 3 mm pada beban 125 kg. dari hasil perhitungan ddapat kekakuan chassis sebesar 41,66 kg/mm Kata Kunci: Chassis, tubular space frame, proses pemesinan, proses pengelasan, pengujian kekakuan</note>
