<note>Injection molding Hand press adalah suatu metode pembentukan benda kerja dengan material plastik yang berbentuk butiran-butiran kecil yang dalam pengerjaannya memiliki beberapa tahap, tahapan pertama butiran-butiran plastik dimasukkan ke dalam corong (hopper), selanjutnya menuju barrel yang didalamnya terjadi pemanasan hingga titik leleh plastik kemudian menuju piston yang berfungsi untuk mengalirkan cairan plastik panas ke nozzle yang kemudian menuju mold dan terjadi proses pendinginan di dalam cetakan untuk menjadi sebuah produk yang diinginkan. Dalam pembuatan mold slide piece cvt ini memiliki beberapa tahap pengerjaan, yang dimulai dari proses mendesain mold dengan software Solidwork, kemudian membuat program dari hasil desain tersebut dengan menggunakan software Mastercam, lalu melakukan proses machining dengan mesin CNC serta EDM. Kemudian melakukan assembly dari part yang telah di machining sebelumnya, serta untuk bahan material yang digunakan pada proses pembuatan Slide Piece ini yaitu jenis komposit serat nanas dan serat rami dengan perekat polypropilane high impact (PPHI).</note>
