ANALISIS SPASIAL KAWASAN RAWAN BENCANA TANAH LONGSOR BERBASIS SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS DI KABUPATEN SUMEDANG (Studi Kasus: Kecamatan Sumedang Utara dan Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan)


North Sumedang District and South Sumedang District are part of the central and southern part of Sumedang Regency (Indra, 2019) which have the highest rate of landslides in Sumedang Regency. According to BNPB data, from January 1, 2020 to March 30, 2021, in North Sumedang District and South Sumedang District, 23 landslides were recorded. The study was conducted to identify Landslide Disasterprone areas in North Sumedang and South Sumedang Districts, using the Geographic Information System (GIS) spatial analysis method by assigning scores and weights to the parameters causing landslides, which refers to the Soil and Agroclimate Research Center (Puslittanak) 2004 in Yassar, et al., 2020. The parameters used are rainfall, land use, slope, rock type, and soil type. Landslideprone areas in North Sumedang and South Sumedang sub-districts have the potential for landslides to occur, namely at moderate, high and very high levels of vulnerability. In North Sumedang District, it shows that the medium vulnerability level has an area of 1081,615 Ha, the high vulnerability level has an area of 1786,984 Ha and the very high level of vulnerability has an area of 254,995 Ha. Meanwhile, in South Sumedang District, it shows that the medium vulnerability level has an area of 2244.53 Ha, the high vulnerability level has an area of 6369.812 Ha and the very high level of vulnerability has an area of 874.468 Ha.
