Water is usually distributed using a device called a pump. A pump is a device used to move fluid from one place to another through a piping medium by adding energy to the fluid that is moved and lasts continuously. Because the average water pump uses electrical energy, a pump is made called a hydraulic ram pump. A hydraulic ram pump is a mechanical pump that works on the basis of the kinetic energy of flowing water. This study aims to determine the pressure and speed of the flow of water flowing in a hydraulic pump simulated using the help of Computational Fluid Dynamic-based software called Ansys Fluent. Simulation of water flow on the hydraulic ram pump using software is needed to ensure that the hydraulic ram pump runs smoothly and the water flow on the hydraulic ram pump can be distributed according to specifications that have been designed with 426 liters per minute of water source discharge and static head as high as 3 meters. The simulation was carried out starting from the preprocessing stage by changing the geometry of the hydraulic ram pump from 3D to 2D, then meshing was carried out on geometry which resulted in meshing quality with a skewness number of 6.6 x 10-2 and orthogonal quality of 0.99032. The next stage is the setup process to set the limit conditions and rotation of the hydraulic ram pump valve which is set as much as 30 rpm. The next stage of simulation, namely solving to organize the iteration process and to run the calculation process that produces an iteration graph that if checked already produces a convergent iteration graph. The last stage of the simulation is postprocessing to get simulation results in the form of pressure contours that produce a maximum pressure of 487,083 Pa and a vector speed that viii INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI NASIONAL produces a maximum speed of 1,170 m/s which occurs when the water hammer phenomenon occurs in the waste valve. Then it produces a mass flow rate at the delivery outlet or water distributed at 2.3 kg/s or equivalent to 138 liters per minute and the mass flow rate at the waste outlet of 4.79 kg/s or the equivalent of 287.4 liters per minute.
