MODIFIKASI SISTEM KEMUDI DAN PENGGERAK DRIVE SIMULATOR 2 DOF
Driving simulation is a program in which the driver seems to be driving a vehicle directly. In previous studies, a frame driving simulator with 2 DOF has been designed. This frame simulator is a driving simulator component to simulate pitch and roll motion. In this study, modifications were made to the 2 DOF driving simulator using an Arduino-based control system with a frame that had been made in previous studies. In the frame, changes will be made to the electric motor used to drive the frame. The object used to simulate motion is an RC car. This Arduinobased control system is installed on the RC car and frame simulator, the control system on the RC car will detect pitch and roll motion by the gyro sensor. The control system on the simulator frame receives a signal from the gyro sensor with a pitch limit of 30 degrees left and -30 degrees right and for roll 20 degrees for the front dive and -20 degrees for the back dive. The steering wheel design process uses an Arduino-based control system that integrated with the RC car.
