<note>Analisis manaJemen energi global merupakan kegiatan untuk mengidentifikasikan jumlah dan posisi-posisi tempat teijadinya pemakaian energy pada sistem global. PLTG Sunyaragi Cirebon (Unit Bisnis Pembangkit PT. INDONESIA POWER) merupakan salah satu industri listrik yang intensif energi, artinya bahwa pemakaian energi baik energi bahan bakar (HSD) maupun energi termal per-satuan produknya cukup tinggi.
Jenis sistem turbin gas yang digunakan di PLTG Sunyaragi Cirebon adalah Free Turbine (Multi Shaft .Gas Turbine). Walaupun ada 4 unit ketja, tapi yang beroperasi hanya 3 unit. Analisis dilakukan terhadap 3 unit kerja dengan menghitung berbagai parameter seperti keija yang diperlukan oleh kompresor (WK), kalor yang dihasilkan ruang bakar (QRB), keija yang dihasilkan turbin penghasil gas (gas producer turbine) untuk menggerakan kompresor (Wr,pG), kerja yang dihasilkan oleh turbin daya (power turbine) untuk menghasilkan energy listrik (Wr,o), efisiensi konversi material (C), efisiensi energi pada sistem global (η), sampai diperoleh data konsumsi energi termal spesifik (Heat Rate).
Data yang diperlukan untuk berbagai perhitungan diperoleh dari data operasional (daily sheet) PL TG Sunyaragi Cirebon pada saat operasi selama bulan November 2002. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh data konsumsi energi terrnal spesifik (Heat Rate) total cukup besar (unit 2 : 27.658,43 kJ/kWh atau 6.606,10 kcal/kWh, unit 3 : 25.347,39 kJ/kWh atau 6.054,12 kcal/kWh, unit 4 : 26.421,85 kJ/kWh atau 6.310,75 kcal/kWh). Angka ini diambil berdasarkan bahan bakar yang dikonsumsinya.</note>
