<note>Likuefaksi adalah perubahan material berbutir dari kondisi solid menjadi cair yang diakibatkan oleh meningkatnya tekanan air pori hingga sama besar dengan kekuatan tanah. Parameter menyatakan nilai likuefaksi yaitu rasio tegangan pori berlebih ru dengan nilai batas sebesar 0,7, apabila nilai tersebut lebih kecil maka tanah tersebut tidak berpotensi likuefaksi dan apa bila lebih besar makan akan berpotensi untuk terjadinya likuefaksi. Pada penelitian ini tanah tersebut akan diberikan perkuatan yang bertujuan untuk memperkecil dari potensi likuefaksi tersebut. Perkuatan yang digunakan yaitu controlled modulus coloumns dengan memvariasikan spasi antar cmc dan kedalamannya yang akan dimodelkan pada aplikasi Plaxis 3D. Material model yang digunakan yaitu UBC3D-PLM untuk menganalisis potensi likuefaksi. Hasil analisis menjukan setelah tanah tersebut diberi perkuatan terdapat penurunan pada nilai ru pada kondisi eksisting.</note>
