<note>Boiler mempunyai salah satu peran yang sangat penting pada pembangkit listrik (PLTU). Kebocoran terjadi pada area tube, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis kegagalan. Pada area Bet Epavorator Kompartemen Furnis 3 terjadi kebocoran yang menyebabkan gagal beroprasi. Pada pengamatan secara visual memperlihatkan bahwa kegagalan yang dialami tube tersebut mengalami area terkikis dikarenakan mengenai goresan pasir silica dan batu bara. Ivestigasi dilakukan terdiri dari inspeksi visual, pengukuran ketebalan dinding, dyepenetrant, uji kekerasan dengan metode vickers uji creep.</note>
