Surya Lestari (CVSL) adalah salah satu assembly yang menyediakan mesin untuk di distribusikan ke perusahaan lain, perusahaan tersebut bergerak dibidang tekstil, jasa perbaikan mesin dan penjualan sparepart. CVSL bekerja sama dengan lima supplier bahan baku besi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksinya. Perusahaan belum mempunyai prioritas dalam pemilihan supplier. Pemilihan supplier hanya didasarkan pada jarak terdekat dengan memepertimbangkan kuantitas yang tersedia pada supplier tersebut. Jika kuantitas yang diinginkan kurang dari kebutuhan maka perusahaan akan memenuhi pada supplier berikutnya. Hal ini berdampak target produksi perusahaan tidak terpenuhi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka perlu diadanya penentuan prioritas supplier berdasarkan kriteria dari perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Fuzzy Analitycal Hierarchy Process (FAHP). FAHP merupakan metode pengambilan keputusan secara subjektif untuk menentukan alternatif terbaik berdasarkan beberapa kriteria yang sudah ditentukan.</note>
