Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dipakai untuk memperoleh bobot prioritas kriteria, sedangkan Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) digunakan untuk memeringkat alternatif berdasarkan kedekatannya dengan solusi ideal. Education is a planned process that plays a crucial role in developing students’ potential. The transition from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes learning flexibility as well as the strengthening of students’ competencies and character. At SMA Alfa Centauri, this change has led to the introduction of specialization tracks with additional toppings, such as Science-Economics, Science-Sociology, Science-Informatics, Science-Language, Social Studies-Entrepreneurship, and Social Studies-Language. However, the implementation of this specialization system poses challenges in aligning class allocations with students’ preferences, thereby requiring data-driven evaluations to support decision-making. This study aims to determine the ranking of specialization tracks most preferred by grade X students at SMA Alfa Centauri. Six criteria were applied in the analysis: interest, career aspiration, intended university major, talent, parents’ choice, and peer influence. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was employed to obtain the priority weights of the criteria, while the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) was used to rank the alternatives based on their proximity to the ideal solution. The results indicate that the intended university major carries the highest weight, followed by career aspiration, interest, talent, parents’ choice, and peer influence. Through TOPSIS, the specialization track with the highest preference value is Science-Informatics, followed by Science-Sociology, Science-Language, Science-Economics, Social Studies-Entrepreneurship, and Social Studies-Language. These findings highlight the tendency of students to choose science-based fields that are closely aligned with their future academic and career prospects.
