<note>Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perubahan garis pantai di area pesisir Kabupaten Cirebon selama periode 2019–2022 dan 2022–2024 dengan menggunakan citra satelit Sentinel-2. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan platform Google Earth Engine (GEE) dengan Modified Normalized Difference Water Index (MNDWI) dan algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM) untuk klasifikasi darat dan air, dan metode Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) untuk menghitung perubahan garis pantai. Proses penelitian mencakup pra-pengolahan citra seperti cropping, penghilangan awan, dan penghitungan indeks air Modified Normalized Difference Water Index (MNDWI), dilanjutkan dengan klasifikasi darat-air menggunakan algoritma SVM, pengujian akurasi, ekstraksi garis pantai, hingga analisis spasial perubahan garis pantai.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat akurasi klasifikasi melebihi 99% di setiap tahun pengamatan, yang menunjukkan pemisahan antara darat dan air dapat diklasifikasi dengan sangat baik. Analisis DSAS menunjukkan bahwa perubahan garis pantai di Cirebon bersifat dinamis dan tidak seragam di setiap kecamatan. Kecamatan Astanajapura dan Pangenan didominasi oleh akresi. Sebaliknya, Kecamatan Gebang cenderung mengalami abrasi.
Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pemanfaatan citra Sentinel-2 yang diproses di GEE dengan metode SVM, MNDWI untuk klasifikasi kelas darat dan air, lalu analisis DSAS dapat memberikan hasil yang cepat, tepat, dan efisien dalam memantau perubahan garis pantai. Hasilini bisa menjadi dasar dalam perencanaan pengelolaan daerah pesisir Cirebon, terutama dalam upaya pengurangan abrasi, pengaturan pemanfaatan lahan, serta penyusunan strategi pembangunan pesisir yang lebih berkelanjutan.

This study aims to analyze shoreline changes in the coastal areas of Cirebon Regency during the 2019–2022 and 2022–2024 periods using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery. Data processing was carried out using the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform with the Modified Normalized Difference Water Index (MNDWI) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms for land and water classification, and the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) method to calculate shoreline changes. The research process includes image pre-processing such as cropping, cloud removal, and calculation of the Modified Normalized Difference Water Index (MNDWI) water index, followed by land-water classification using the SVM algorithm, accuracy testing, shoreline extraction, and spatial analysis of shoreline changes.
The results showed that the classification accuracy exceeded 99% in each observation year, indicating excellent classification of land and water boundaries. The DSAS analysis revealed that shoreline changes in Cirebon are dynamic and not uniform across sub-districts. Astanajapura and Pangenan sub-districts are predominantly accretionary, while Gebang sub-district tends to experience abrasion.
Overall, this study confirms that the use of Sentinel-2 imagery processed in GEE with SVM, MNDWI for land and water class classification, and DSAS analysis can provide fast, accurate, and efficient results in monitoring coastline changes. These results can be used as a basis for coastal management planning in Cirebon, particularly in efforts to reduce abrasion, regulate land use, and develop more sustainable coastal development strategies</note>
