Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan tas kamera fotografi dan videografi khusus untuk acara cosplay, dengan menekankan mobilitas tinggi, akses cepat, kompartemen fleksibel, dan perlindungan optimal untuk peralatan kamera. Meningkatnya popularitas acara cosplay menghadirkan tantangan unik bagi fotografer dan videografer, yang harus menjelajahi tempat ramai sambil membawa perlengkapan sensitif dan mahal. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Design Thinking, penelitian ini dimulai dengan tahap empati yang melibatkan wawancara dan observasi pengguna (usia 18–25), diikuti dengan pendefinisian masalah utama, ide, pembuatan prototipe, dan pengujian produk. Selain memprioritaskan desain ergonomis dan fungsional, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan bambu laminasi sebagai material pelindung di dalam tas kamera. Bambu ringan, tahan lama, ramah lingkungan, dan menawarkan nilai estetika, menjadikannya alternatif alami yang cocok untuk perlindungan dari guncangan. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pengguna lebih menyukai tas kamera dengan akses pinggang karena kecepatan dan kenyamanannya, meskipun seringkali kekurangan kapasitas dan perlindungan benturan yang memadai. Desain akhir menggabungkan keunggulan dari berbagai jenis tas, mengintegrasikan kompartemen modular, material tahan air, dan struktur internal berlapis bambu. Produk yang dihasilkan bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi efektif yang mendukung produktivitas fotografer dan videografer selama acara cosplay.

This study discusses the design of a photography and videography bag tailored for cosplay events, emphasizing the need for high mobility, quick access, compartment flexibility, and optimal protection for camera equipment. The growing popularity of cosplay presents unique challenges for photographers and videographers who must move swiftly through crowds while carrying sensitive and expensive gear. This research adopts a Design Thinking approach, beginning with the empathy stage through observations and interviews with users aged 18–25, followed by problem definition, ideation, prototyping, and product testing. In addition to focusing on ergonomic design and accessibility, the study also explores the potential of laminated bamboo as a protective material in camera bags. This material is considered environmentally friendly, strong, and lightweight, providing additional impact protection without compromising the bag's aesthetics. Analysis shows that most users prefer waist-access bags for their quick retrieval advantages; however, limitations in capacity and protection are common drawbacks. Therefore, the final product design combines the strengths of various bag types using a modular approach, waterproof materials, and an internal protective structure made of laminated bamboo. This product is expected to offer an effective solution that supports the productivity of photographers and videographers at cosplay events.
