The exploiting of soy seed, for example in processing of soy milk and tempe, will involve the problem of yielded waste in the form of soy seed husk. Seed soy husk consist of polysaccharide, with 40% of it is cellulose. This obstetrical of cellulose in soy seed husk will have economic value if processed into more valuable materials, for example acid of oxalate. It has many usefulness applications. Oxalate acids can be used as car radiator cleaner, bleaching agent in textile industry and wood, pH neutralizing at leather tanning industry, vanishing corrosion in metal industry, eliminating calcium in waste water process, and neutralizing excess of alkali in washing process. In this research, oxalic acid is obtained by reacting soy seed husk with forge, using alkali ( NaOH). This research will study the influence of the operation condition includes NaOH concentration with variation of (45, 50, 55, and 60% w/v), the stirring speed (400, 450, 500, and 550 rpm), and dissolving time with variation of (100, 110, and 120 minutes).The dissolving it’s held at 100 degree celcius and the smooth soy seed husk. the optimum condition of this experiment is at (50%) consentration of NaOH and the stirring speed at (450 rpm). the yeild of oxalic acid is (13,073 g) or (26,15%) in this optimum condition.
