<note>Tulisan ini membahas lentang perbandingan antara metoda modifikasi
rumus interaksi dari AISC untuk kolom komposit, dan kolom beton berulang dengan
menggunakan metoda kekuatan batas dari SK-SNI dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui
seberapa besar perbedaan kapasitas keduanya didalam memikul gaya aksial dan
momen.
Studi kasus dilakukan dengan meninjau penampang kolom dalam geometri,
mutu beton serta luas baja yang relatif sama. Dari hasil analisis dapat ditarik
kesimpulan bahwa, dalam memikul gaya aksial kolom komposit terlihat lebih kuat,
sedangkan didalam memikul momen lentur, kolom beton bertulang terlihat lebih
dominan . Perbedaan antara kedua kolom tersebut terlihat jelas pada gambar diagram interaksinya.
