PONDOK PESANTREN BAITURRAHMAN JAWA
Indonesia is a rich country which has several kinds of fossil or non-fossil energy. This is why
it will be better if Indonesia is not only depending on one kind of energy such as fossil
energy, coal, and natural gas, because energy reserve fossil was has limited amount and
will be gradually depleted. Thus, a power analysis study of biogas plant was necessary for
the purpose of national energy. The process of study was performed by installing flow meter
to see biogas consumption as fuel energy when no load and variable of dummy load
condition. The study result was obtained generated power of 0,5 kW was 399,96 watts for
the highest load by using 1 kW generator capacity. The total organic waste human and cow
was 1,3 m3/day with a methane content of 52,5%, that could produce 5251,4 watt of input
power.
