Detail Zoning Plan of Coastal Area and Small Islands (Wilayah PesisirdanPulau- Pulau Kecil-WP3K), technically is an action plan establishes the designation ofthe sub zone of Coastal Area and Small Islands (WP3K) with regards the linksbetween the activities in the sub zone, in order to create the harmony between the activities in the every sub zone.Nowadays, coastal area in Nagekeo Regency not utilized and managed yet well by people and local government. Lack of coastal zoning planning specifically about function and role of coastal area as generalutilization area that has been used for recreation and leisure.In Nagekeo Regency, the potential of coastal area as marine tourism area has not been developed optimally. The purpose of this research is to determine the coastal area zones based on land use in supporting the sustainability of coastal area management with considering the aspect of community involvement for creating an integrated and sustainable coastal management efforts, resolve the resources utilization conflict, for the long term utilization guidance, coastal resources development and management in area planning.The methods that was used to determine the coastal area zoning is based on Strengths, Weakness, Opportunity, Threath Analysis (SWOT Analysis) and Spatial Analysis by giving score and values at every forming parameter. The result of coastal area zoning in NagekeoRegency was classified in eight (8) zoning for northern coastal area and four (4) zoning for southern coastal area. The eight kind of areas are KawasanPenyangga (buffer zone) about 4,890 hectares; Kawasan Budidaya Tanaman Tahunan (annual crop cultivation region) about 6,892 hectares; Kawasan Budidaya Tanaman Semusim dan Permukiman (seasonal crops cultivation and settlement region) about 10,156 hectares; Kawasan Kampung Nelayan (fishermen village region)about 20 hectares; Kawasan Tambak Garam (Salt Ponds region) about 54 hectares; Kawasan Budidaya Perikanan (Aquaculture region) about 1,141 hectares; Wisata BahariPantai (Marine tourism region)about 394 hectares dan Wisata Air Panas (hot water attraction region about 1 hectares.In southern area,those are Kawasan Lindung (Protected areas) about 3,250 hectares; Kawasan Penyangga (buffer zone) about 9,560 hectares; Kawasan Budidaya Tanaman Semusim dan Permukiman (seasonal crops cultivation and settlement region) about 1,549 hectares dan Kawasan Wisata Bahari Pantai (Marine tourism areas) about 20 hectares.
