Distribution of gas from one station to another location are needed a pipeline as a transportation system. The booster compressor must be provided in each station of gas (to increase the pressure of gas), so the gas can be transferred to predetermined location. This research has an objective to analysis a RAM (Reliability, Availability & Maintainability) of the gas turbine (as prime mover of booster compressor ), so we can determine and predict the effectiveness of main component of gas turbine. In the real situation, a gas turbine must reliable, available and maintainable. Gas turbine must operate with effectively. A software as a tools of RAM analysis has been developed. A software called as “RAM – E“. Based on this research, it was found that the sensor of temperature has a low reliability but has a high availability (for case Cilamaya’s gas turbine). The result of analysis shown that a station of gas has a low reliability, however it doesn’t mean that a system has a bad perform. In fact, a station of gas has a good perform, but root cause of a low reliability of gas station is changed operation system from manual to automatic. Counter measure for this situation is sensors must be set up (be adjust) until nearly operation condition (made it’s not too sensitive) It can be concluded that analysis RAM is easier and more powerful with implementation “RAM – E“ software. With this software we can know how to predict and calculate the system (optimum or bad). If it found that system badly, we can change the system until find the optimum system. “RAM – E“ can be displayed some of graphics parameter, that guide us to get information about good or bad item.
