Trans Metro Bandung (TMB) merupakan moda transportasi yang disediakan pemerintah untuk mengurangi jumlah kemacetan di jalanan kota Bandung, namun kondisi lapangan yang tidak sesuai dengan harapan menimbulkan pertanyaan, apakah moda transportasi tersebut dapat menutupi kebutuhan biaya operasional setiap tahunnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Biaya Operasi Kendaraan (BOK) bus Trans Metro Bandung (TMB) dapat ditutupi dengan pendapatan yang diterima. Metode perhitungan yang digunakan yaitu melalui perhitungan biaya operasi kendaraan berdasarkan metode dari Departement Perhubungan tahun 2003. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh biaya operasional kendaraan total sebesar Rp. 611.805.014/ tahun, setelah itu dilakukan analisis tarif yaitu dengan membandingkan jumlah penumpang yg naik per harinya, sebanyak orang dengan biaya operasional total yang telah dicari. Hasil nya di dapat kan tarif yang diperlukan untuk menutupi biaya operasi kendaraan, yaitu sebesar Rp. 2.950/ penumpang. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Trans Metro Bandung (TMB) is a mode of transportation which is aims to reduce the amount of traffic in the streets of Bandung, but the field conditions are not in line with expectations raised questions about whether the transport modes can cover the needs of the operational costs annually. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Vehicle Operating Cost (VOC) Trans Metro Bandung (TMB) can be covered by income received. The method of calculation used is through the calculation of vehicle operating costs based on the methods of the Department of Transportation in 2003. From this research, the total vehicle operating costs Rp. 611,805,014/ year, an analysis of rates by comparing the number of passengers who ride per day, as many as 576 people with a total operating costs that have been searched. Her results in the fare can be required to cover the costs of vehicle operation, that is Rp. 2,950/ passenger.
