<note>Konstruksi timbunan pada tanah lunak mengakibatkan penurunan, deformasi lateral, dan geseran tanah ke atas yang dapat terjadi pada area sekitar timbunan. Hal ini disebabkan karena tanah lunak memiliki kuat geser dan permeabilitas yang rendah serta kompresibilitas besar. Perkuatan sheetpile digunakan untuk membentuk ketidaksinambungan tegangan antara timbunan dan area sekitarnya sehingga dapat mengurangi permasalahan yang terjadi. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk membandingkan beberapa metode pemasangan sheetpile pada tanah lunak yaitu all bottom out (pemasangan semua sheetpile sampai tanah keras), dan partial floating sheetpile (pemasangan sheetpile dengan dengan sebagian mencapai tanah keras dan sebagian mengambang) dengan menggunakan program PLAXIS 3D. Sehingga hasil analisis dapat mengetahui besarnya penurunan dari berbagai metode pemasangan sheetpile yang telah dimodelkan.</note>
