<note>Ban bekas merupakan limbah indsutri yang dapat mencemari lingkungan. Seiring pertumbuhan ekonomi negara kita, jumlah ban bekas akan akan semakin bertambah seiring dengan jumlah kendaraan yang semakin meningkat. Salah satu pemanfaatan ban bekas dalam bidang perkerasan jalan yaitu dengan mengolah bahan limbah tersebut sebagai bahan tambah campuran beraspal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja aspal modifikasi karet ban bekas yang meliputi variasi persentase 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% dengan temperatur suhu 180 C selama 60 dan 90 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aspal modifikasi dengan karet ban bekas pada persentase 6% dan 8% dengan waktu 90 menit memenuhi spesifikasi Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga Divisi 6 Rev 3, 2010</note>
