<note>Pelabuhan Bandar Bakau Jaya terletak di pantai timur laut provinsi Banten. Pengerukan telah dilakukan sedalam 10 meter untuk dapat melayani kapal berdimensi 10000 DWT. Namun, saluran pelabuhan akan mengalami sedimentasi lanjutan, yang dapat mempengaruhi kedalaman alur pelabuhan. Validasi harus dilakukan antara data pasang surut dan output pemodelan pasang surut sebagai dasar untuk mengevaluasi masalah ini. Hasil pemodelan dari aplikasi Hidrodinamik 2DH menggunakan data pasang surut dari berbagai batas, data angin, data sedimen, eddy viscosity dan manning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa volume sedimen yang terjadi pada sepanjang alur pelabuhan selama satu tahun adalah sebesar 12.800 m3per tahun. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut perlu dilakukan pengerukan satu kali dalam setahun menggunakan kapal keruk Suction Dredger / Sand Pump.</note>
